Symetra Investment Services, Inc. Welcomes Seattle First Asset Management To Its Advisor Network
Symetra Investment Services, Inc. (SIS), an independent broker-dealer and registered investment advisor, today announced that Seattle First Asset Management has joined its network of independent financial advisors. Seattle First’s founders, Floyd U. Jones and Steven J. Jones, were formerly affiliated with First Washington Corporation in Seattle, Wash. The father-and-son team has 84 years of combined experience in the financial services industry and manages more than $400 million in total client assets.
“This is an exciting new chapter for us, and we look forward to working with SIS to achieve our growth goals,” said Floyd Jones, principal, Seattle First Asset Management.
“Aligning our firm and clients with a Washington-based broker-dealer was a top priority for us,” said Steven Jones, Seattle First president. “We also were drawn to SIS’s strong balance sheet and commitment to helping advisors grow and protect their practices.”
Seattle First Asset Management’s focus is providing high-quality stock and bond portfolio advisory services to their clients.
“Our relationship with Seattle First Asset Management represents an important step in establishing SIS as a broker-dealer of choice for top-caliber advisors,” said Richard Moran, president of SIS. “We look forward to providing Seattle First with tools and resources to deliver value-added services and retirement income solutions to its clients.” Floyd Jones joined First Washington as an owner in 1989. He began his career as an account executive at Dean Witter, where he became partner and manager. Steven Jones joined First Washington in 1989 as first vice president. He started his career with Drexel Burnham Lambert. The Jones family has been an active philanthropic force in the Seattle and Camano Island, Wash. areas for many years. In 1986, Floyd Jones and his late wife, Delores, established the Floyd and Delores Jones Foundation. The organization focuses its charitable giving in Washington State, with an emphasis on education and human services programs.Select the service that is right for you!
