Previously available only as emails or text messages, TripIt Pro alerts are now also captured in an alerts dashboard within the TripIt app for iPad, providing a helping hand for travelers who have Wi-Fi access but no international data plan.

Now available as push notifications, in-app alerts, text messages, emails or TripIt.com messages, TripIt Pro alerts include:

• Check-in reminder 24 hours in advance
• Departure summary ­­shortly before the trip begins
• Cancellation and delay alerts, with help finding alternate flights with open seats
• Gate change notifications
• Arrival and connection summaries to help make the transfer or airport pickup go smoothly
• Alerts if the price of the airfare goes down, with instructions on how to claim a refund or credit
