Norris joined FMC in 2001 as director of Investor Relations. He was named director of Corporate Development in 2005, and a year later was appointed director of FMC's Healthcare Ventures unit. Norris began his career in 1989 at Rohm and Haas Company in technical sales and held roles in strategic planning, marketing, business development and commercial management before being named Investor Relations manager in 1998.
