GHX Selects MicroStrategy To Offer Healthcare Suppliers Enhanced Access To Distributed Medical-Surgical Market Data

LOUISVILLE, Colo., Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GHX has selected MicroStrategy® Incorporated (Nasdaq: MSTR), a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence (BI) software, to provide healthcare suppliers with improved analytical reporting tools as they leverage GHX Market Intelligence data for medical-surgical products. Initially, GHX will pilot the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform™ as the new interface for its Web-based Market Intelligence portal, which offers users access to current data that helps them measure performance and shape business strategies. This enhancement will provide healthcare suppliers a faster, easier and more user-friendly way to leverage comprehensive national distributed sales transaction data through GHX Market Intelligence.

Today, the GHX MiShare® Market Intelligence portal provides online access to more than $30 billion of third-party, U.S. medical-surgical sales data that healthcare suppliers can use to track and analyze product performance, target growth opportunities, identify purchasing trends and assess overall market conditions. With intuitive dashboards and sophisticated analytics, the MicroStrategy platform will enable Market Intelligence portal users to better leverage this data through deeper insights and tailored reporting that deliver information more relevant to their businesses. Most notably, users will have the ability to customize their GHX dashboard, data viewing options and reports.
