's National AIDS Control Organization (NACO). NACO is a division of
's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and is responsible for overseeing HIV/AIDS control programs in
. NACO's objective is to halt and reverse the HIV/AIDS epidemic in
over the next five years through integrated programs for prevention, care and support and treatment. NACO manages 35 HIV Prevention and Control Societies, which implement NACO's programs at the State level and manage more than 350 ARV treatment centers.
