Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) is pleased to announce that Robert R. Giraldi has joined Cardinal as Senior Vice President and Market Executive.
Giraldi joins Cardinal Banks premier commercial lending team. As Market Executive, he will be responsible for the Business Development efforts of a team of lenders, business development officers, and branch managers, with a focus on expanding Cardinal’s penetration into Montgomery County and the District of Columbia. Giraldi’s has served in various commercial banking and lending functions in institutions throughout the region, most recently as Senior Vice President, Group Manager of the Maryland Commercial Group for Eagle Bank in Bethesda, MD.

Giraldi, a longtime resident of Montgomery and Howard Counties, holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Maryland. He remains active in the Terrapin Club and the University of Maryland Alumni Association. He is also a 2005 Honor Graduate of the Maryland School of Banking, and is a member of the Leadership Montgomery Class of 2003.
