PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stefan Lambert has been appointed a Managing Principal of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp., part of Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC), serving as market leader for Northern Virginia and surrounding field offices. In his role, Lambert will be responsible for recruiting new advisors, retention and risk management.

A twenty-two year industry veteran, Lambert began his career as a financial advisor with Smith Barney in New York, NY. In 2000, he was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, Vice President of Investments for a large Smith Barney office in New York. In 2003, Lambert joined UBS Financial Services as a Branch Manager, Director in Vienna, VA, and in 2008, he began working for Waddell & Reed in Owings Mills, MD as the Managing Principal for Maryland.
Lambert earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
