Wet Seal Launches Exclusive Partnership With Breakout Pop Sensation Carly Rae Jepsen

The Wet Seal, Inc. (Nasdaq: WTSLA), a leading specialty retailer to young women, today announced it will launch a nationwide partnership with multi-platinum Canadian singer/songwriter, Carly Rae Jepsen on September 5, 2012. The exclusive program will feature the chart-topping recording artist in-store and online as part of Wet Seal’s promotional marketing campaigns through the fall and holiday seasons.

At the launch of the partnership, Wet Seal will host a contest for customers to enter for a chance to win a $1,000 Wet Seal shopping spree. The winner will receive a personal phone call invitation from Carly to shop alongside her at a Wet Seal store, and also win four tickets to see Carly perform live on the Justin Bieber ‘Believe’ tour this fall.

Jepsen will release her U.S. debut album Kiss on September 18 ^th, which will be available at all Wet Seal store locations and at wetseal.com for only $9.50 throughout the duration of the program. To celebrate its debut, Wet Seal will offer the album at an exclusive price to be revealed on the release date.

Each image reflects the vibrant nature of the fashion shoot, which was inspired by Carly’s playful and flirtatious style. The images will be showcased throughout the duration of the program in-store and online.
