NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Ingersoll-Rand (NYSE:IR) hit a new 52-week high Wednesday as it is currently trading at $45.68, above its previous 52-week high of $45.62 with two million shares traded as of 3:20 p.m. ET. Average volume has been 3.1 million shares over the past 30 days.

Ingersoll-Rand has a market cap of $13.63 billion and is part of the industrial goods sector and industrial industry. Shares are up 46.7% year to date as of the close of trading on Tuesday.
