The study — an eight week,
double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial
— included 80 adults who were given either a placebo or 100 milligrams or 250 milligrams of pTeroPure per day to evaluate pTeroPure's effects on blood pressure, weight loss and cholesterol. Led by principle investigator Dr.

University of Mississippi
School of Pharmacy, the study was a collaboration between the University of Mississippi and ChromaDex.
