SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC), a leading global multi-screen video software innovator, today announced it has strengthened its European operations with the appointment of Andrei Noppe as senior vice president and general manager for the EMEA/APAC region.
Noppe has a broad range of industry experience in C-level/executive management positions at several video service provider companies in Europe, most recently as executive vice president of the M7 Group S.A. in Luxemburg, which offers satellite and direct-to-home (DTH) TV services in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria under the brands CanalDigitaal, TV Vlaanderen, TeleSAT and AustriaSAT. He was also managing director of Canal Digitaal B.V., the satellite and DTH television operator in the Netherlands prior to it being merged into M7. Before that Noppe was CTO at Casema, the Netherlands’ third-largest cable operator at the time, now merged into Ziggo; and managing director at Primacom, a cable operator in Germany. Noppe’s extensive background in technology, engineering, operations, customer service and more includes improving the quality of service at cable TV operators and increasing operational efficiencies.
