Nuveen To Host Conference Call On Mortgage-Backed Securities Market

Nuveen Investments, a leading global provider of investment services to institutions as well as individual investors, today announced it will host a conference call to provide an overview of the mortgage-backed securities (MBS) market. The call will take place on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 and is open to the public. Mortgage-backed securities are the primary focus of two Nuveen closed-end funds, the Nuveen Mortgage Opportunity Term Fund (NYSE: JLS) and Nuveen Mortgage Opportunity Term Fund 2 (NYSE: JMT). In addition to the MBS market overview and outlook, the call will also include an overview of fund strategy as well as a review of fund performance for JLS and JMT.

Leading the discussion will be Mike Garrett, Senior Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager from Wellington Management Company and Dave Lamb, Senior Vice President, Financial Modeling and Analysis from Nuveen Investments.
