Cheniere Repays Convertible Senior Unsecured Notes

HOUSTON, Aug. 2, 2012  /PRNewswire/ -- Cheniere Energy, Inc. ("Cheniere") (NYSE MKT: LNG) announced today that it has repaid in full the entire outstanding principal balance plus accrued interest payable totaling $206.9 million under the 2.25% Convertible Senior Unsecured Notes due August 2012.  On a standalone basis, Cheniere has no further debt outstanding.
