Agilent Technologies Expands Wireless Test Portfolio By Completing Acquisition Of AT4 Wireless Test Systems Business

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that AT4 wireless’ Test Systems business assets are now part of Agilent. The two companies had announced an acquisition agreement on July 16. Financial details were not disclosed.

The former AT4 wireless Test Systems products are now available for sale directly from Agilent and Agilent’s channel partners. This portfolio includes industry-leading solutions for conformance and R&D customers working on LTE, Bluetooth® and NFC/RFID technologies. The LTE solutions include extensive test coverage for RCT, PCT and RRM, and are validated by the GCF and PTCRB for both FDD and TDD technologies. This capability is essential for equipment vendors who are developing and certifying their devices for use on LTE networks. The Bluetooth and NFC/RFID solutions are highly complementary; today’s smart phones and tablets typically incorporate all of these technologies.
