Books-A-Million Names Michael G. Rediker As Corporate Development Analyst
Books-A-Million, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM: BAMM) today announced the appointment of Michael G. Rediker as Corporate Development Analyst. Mr. Rediker will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and implementing strategic corporate initiatives within the organization, including new business growth opportunities and will report to James F. Turner, Executive Vice President.
“I’m very pleased to have Michael join the Books-A-Million team and know his prior experience will be an asset as we continue to explore growth opportunities for the company,” said Mr. Turner.
Mr. Rediker is a graduate of Tulane University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Legal Studies in Business. Following Tulane, he worked at Sterne Agee in investment banking where he provided merger and acquisition advisory, capital/debt issuance, valuation and other corporate finance services to the bank and thrift industry. Mr. Rediker was most recently with the investment banking firm Paces Battle Group, Inc. where he also provided a broad array of transactional and other corporate finance services to bank and thrift clients.
Mr. Rediker is a Level III candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He currently serves as a Trustee of The Altamont School and is the immediate past president of the Altamont Alumni Association.
