By the end of trading, Salesforce.com fell 71 cents (-0.6%) to $124.61 on heavy volume. Throughout the day, 4.6 million shares of Salesforce.com exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 2.6 million shares. The stock ranged in price between $122.89-$130.75 after having opened the day at $128.36 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $125.32. The company delivers customer relationship management applications through Internet or cloud. Salesforce.com has a market cap of $17.49 billion and is part of the technology sector. Shares are up 23.5% year to date as of the close of trading on Wednesday. Currently there are 27 analysts that rate Salesforce.com a buy, two analysts rate it a sell, and two rate it a hold.
