A New PetSmart® Store Arrives In Pico Rivera

Pico Rivera pet parents now have all the products, professional services and expertise they need to help their pets live happier lives as PetSmart opens the doors of its store located at 8852 Washington Blvd.

The Pico Rivera PetSmart® store is hosting its grand opening celebration on Saturday, July 28 and pet parents and pets are invited. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the mayor and civic leaders will begin at 9am followed by the festivities including:

• Mystery gift cards for the first (50) people who enter the store
• Dog trick training contest (4 winners, $5 gift cards)
• Free items like plush dog toys, cat toys and Frisbees
• Free T-shirt for enrolling in the PetSmart PetPerks® program
• Radio remote with giveaways
• “Enter to win” prizes such as basic dog or puppy training class (3 winners), one year’s supply of NUTRO® pet food (1 winner); one year of free grooming (1 winner), or a $50 PetSmart gift card (1 winner)

Festivities will continue throughout the afternoon with the following activities beginning at 12pm:

• Face painting and balloon animals
• Caricatures with proceeds to benefit the local Animal Care Foundation
• Main stage entertainment hosted by local deejay Jukebox Jeff and featuring a local youth dance troop
• 1pm drawing for $25 gift cards (20 winners)

At the grand opening and each weekend thereafter, adoption events will be held in partnership with PetSmart Charities ^®, with animals available by local adoption partners. PetSmart is committed to helping pets and pet parents find each other, and these efforts save the lives of millions of pets every year.
