Comcast today announced that it is offering complimentary access to thousands of Xfinity WiFi outdoor and indoor hotspots during the duration of the Summer Games which begins on July 27 th and runs through August 12 th. This will allow both Xfinity Internet customers and non-customers the opportunity to watch all the action live from their mobile devices at NBCOlympics.com when the world’s best athletes come together to compete at the 2012 London Games. To access Xfinity WiFi, Xfinity Internet customers and non-customers should look for “xfinitywifi” on their wireless device and follow the prompts to begin their WiFi session.

Xfinity WiFi, which provides Xfinity Internet customers with the ability to access thousands of outdoor and indoor WiFi hotspots, has been launched throughout the greater Philadelphia area and its suburbs in addition to areas of New Jersey and Delaware. Xfinity WiFi hotspots are located in places where customers spend time working, commuting, shopping, dining and socializing. In Philadelphia, Xfinity WiFi hotspots are located in numerous places including shopping districts, in SEPTA train stations and on platforms, near parks and hospitals and in sport and entertainment venues like the Wells Fargo Center and Xfinity Live! In New Jersey, Xfinity WiFi is available in numerous shore towns as well as other areas from Union to Cape May, including: Berkeley Heights, Livingston, Long Branch, Montclair, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Red Bank, Rumson, Summit, Trenton and others. WiFi access is also available to N.J. Transit passengers at stations throughout northern New Jersey.
