By the end of trading, LinkedIn fell $1.21 (-1.2%) to $102.99 on light volume. Throughout the day, 804,983 shares of LinkedIn exchanged hands as compared to its average daily volume of 3.6 million shares. The stock ranged in price between $102.53-$104.75 after having opened the day at $104.69 as compared to the previous trading day's close of $104.20. Other company's within the Internet industry that declined today were: VirnetX (VHC), down 20.7%, TechTarget (TTGT), down 11.3%, Selectica (SLTC), down 7.3%, and Innodata (INOD), down 6%.

LinkedIn Corporation operates an online professional network. LinkedIn has a market cap of $6.62 billion and is part of the technology sector. The company has a P/E ratio of 708.4, below the average internet industry P/E ratio of 885.5 and above the S&P 500 P/E ratio of 17.7.
