JetBlue And Cathay Pacific Announce Interline Agreement For New Connections To Asia Pacific

NEW YORK, July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU), New York's Hometown Airline™, and Cathay Pacific, the world renowned home carrier of Hong Kong, today announced they have entered into an interline agreement that will link each other's networks and bring new flight options to travellers between Asia Pacific and the Americas.

Through the arrangement, effective later this summer, JetBlue and Cathay Pacific plan to offer the ease of single-ticket travel and one-stop baggage check-in for travellers transferring between the airlines at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

JetBlue is the largest domestic airline at JFK, where Cathay Pacific offers an unrivalled schedule of four daily flights to Hong Kong International Airport – the most flights between JFK and Asia of any airline. At LAX, Cathay Pacific offers as many as three daily flights to Hong Kong that seamlessly connect to JetBlue's transcontinental services to the U.S. Northeast and Florida.
