Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWKS), an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets, today reported third fiscal quarter 2012 results. Revenue for the quarter ending June 29, 2012, was $389.0 million, up 7 percent sequentially and 9 percent when compared to revenue of $356.1 million in the third fiscal quarter of 2011 and exceeding the Company’s previous guidance for the quarter of $383.0 million.
On a non-GAAP basis, operating income for the third fiscal quarter was $91.7 million and diluted earnings per share was $0.45, $0.01 better than prior guidance. On a GAAP basis, operating income for the third fiscal quarter of 2012 was $62.0 million and diluted earnings per share was $0.26.
