Hospital And Physician Networks Nationwide Select Greenway’s Primesuite EHR

Health systems aligning hospital-based provider networks and regional and statewide Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) are coordinating care with Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc.’s integrated electronic health record, (EHR), practice management and interoperability solution PrimeSUITE®.

Boca Raton Regional Hospital, a 400-licensed bed tertiary care facility, purchased PrimeSUITE for initial implementation into its BocaCare affiliated physician network, and has made the solution available to its entire medical staff of 750 providers. The hospital is offering a hosted environment and subsidies for licensing and implementation to assist physicians with their adoption goals.

Physician clinics are receiving data from the hospital-based McKesson system as part of the interoperability performance factored into the selection of PrimeSUITE, according to CIO Robin Hildwein.

“We took some time to conduct EHR fairs at the hospital, on-site demonstrations and off-site visits in a process that included our medical staff,” Hildwein said, “and a lot of factors went into our decision including functionality and ease of use and our supporting goal of achieving meaningful use. The integration of data was important and hospital results going directly into the PrimeSUITE patient record has been easy. The bottom line is a robust system that supports our health IT standards and is one that the physicians will use.”

BocaCare is a network of primary care and sub-specialty physicians in multiple locations offering accessible and comprehensive patient care, supported by coordination with the hospital’s specialists and care network.
