The AEP's annual awards program is widely recognized by educators, administrators, and parents as a mark of outstanding educational value. Tara will continue to oversee Scholastic Art in her new role.
" Instructor is already an indispensable source of information for educators, and I look forward to bringing new ideas to the table to help make it even more useful in the digital and mobile age," said Tara Welty. "Tara has extraordinary gifts as an editor and educator. She made a profound contribution to arts education in re-launching Scholastic Art," said Hugh Roome, President of Scholastic Consumer and Professional Publishing.
