BloomNet® Sponsors New Publication Featuring Highly Imaginative Floral Design Ideas

BloomNet®, a leading floral industry wire service provider and one-stop destination for innovative products and best-in-class services, has teamed with Florists’ Review magazine to develop a 36-page publication filled with exciting design concepts that can expand the creative horizons of retail florists and increase their sales potential.

The new full-color publication is called “Design Portfolio” and it is co-sponsored by BloomNet and produced by Florists’ Review. BloomNet has provided fresh floral product as well as Napco containers for use in the publication’s featured designs. “BloomNet is thrilled to be an integral part of ‘Design Portfolio’ and its mission to impart a wide range of trend-forward floral design ideas that can stir the imagination of florists, further their artistic talents and help them grow their businesses,” said Mark Nance, AAF, President of BloomNet.

Renowned floral artist Bill Taylor, AIFD Fellow and a member of the BloomNet design team, has led the design phase for “Design Portfolio.” Bill has collaborated with Florists’ Review’s design visionary Talmage McLaurin, AIFD, and photographer John Collins. “Within the pages of ‘Design Portfolio’ florists will discover stunning new arrangements reflecting the latest trends in floral artistry. Each design has been developed to inspire florists to explore creative new possibilities that can distinguish them as gifted floral designers and help broaden the sales opportunities for their shops,” said Talmage.

“Design Portfolio” makes its debut as part of the July 2012 issue of Florists’ Review. With a circulation of 22,300, Florists’ Review reaches the largest number of retail and wholesale florists in the industry. BloomNet will provide their member Florists with a complimentary copy of the “Design Portfolio” as well as provide it as a give-away at Floral Industry Tradeshows and in Napco Showrooms in Jacksonville, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia.
