Intellicheck Mobilisa CEO Discusses Fake IDs On Major Cable News Network

Steve Williams, CEO of Intellicheck Mobilisa (NYSE Amex:IDN), a leading technology company specializing in identity systems, was interviewed on a major cable news network on June 21 regarding the issue of fake IDs and how technology could prevent their use.

During the interview, Mr. Williams noted that technology is required to stem the tide of sophisticated counterfeit IDs flooding the US; visual inspection of credentials is no longer sufficient. He said that IDN’s patented technology solutions are designed to read security features embedded within credentials—such as magnetic stripes on driver’s licenses—and are deployed at facilities nationwide.

It was also noted that IDN is working with the Association of American Motor Vehicle Administrators in an effort to identify the latest fake IDs imported from overseas.
