TeamHealth Partners With Emergency Billing Group, LLC And Memorial Hospital In Martinsville, VA

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TeamHealth announced today its expanded presence in Virginia by partnering with Emergency Billing Group, LLC, (EBG) and Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, Va. Beginning July 1, 2012, TeamHealth began providing staffing and administrative services for the 43,000-visit emergency department (ED) at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville following an acquisition of certain assets of EBG. This facility, located due north of Greensboro, N.C., is the sole community hospital provider in Martinsville. EBG and its affiliated physicians have been providing ED staffing and administrative support services to Memorial Hospital for more than two decades.
