Calamos Investments Enhances Investment Platform And Team

NAPERVILLE, Ill., July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Calamos Investments, a global investment management firm, announced important developments in executing strategic growth initiatives to evolve its global investment platform and enhance investment resources for the existing investment team.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the addition of the Calamos Value Equity Team.  This three-person team meets our criteria for having a proven investment process and strong record of investment performance and risk management.  As active, fundamental value investors, the team of Jeff Miller, Ariel Fromer and Tammy Miller joins the firm with a collective 44 years of investment experience.

The Calamos Value Equity Team will assume management of the Calamos Value Fund (CVAAX), an all-cap value fund which was opened in 2002. The team will also be responsible for value strategies that Calamos will introduce to the institutional marketplace.
