James B. Devall
has joined Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRDA; CRDB), the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions, to lead the Company's
-fronted business in the U.S.
As vice president and managing director of
program operations, a newly created position, Devall is responsible for all business coming from the
insurance market to
's U.S. Property & Casualty operation. He will work closely with
's sales and claims teams and its U.K.-based
market team to service existing clients and develop new business.
Devall is based in the Company's service center in
, where he is a longtime resident, and reports to
, senior vice president of U.S. Property & Casualty. "In his 30 years in the insurance industry, Jim has built a strong reputation for quality program business management in

Devall spent much of his career at a major worldwide claims management organization, where he last served as vice president and director of excess and specialty services. He also held positions as vice president and national account executive and assistant vice president and regional manager.
Devall began his career as a claims adjuster at
and was initially involved with the
market during his first tenure with the Company, serving as an account executive and later director of
claims. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from
