Aston Hotels & Resorts To Deploy MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution At 27 Properties

COLUMBIA, Md., June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that it has formed a strategic partnership with Aston Hotels & Resorts, LLC, an operating business of Interval Leisure Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: IILG), a leading global provider of membership and leisure services to the vacation industry, to install the OPERA Enterprise Solution at its 27 properties located in the Hawaiian Islands, California, and Nevada.  MICROS's hotel management software, which will be installed over a 11-month period starting in July, will manage approximately 4,000 units located across the 27 hotels, condominium resorts, villas, and cottages.

The complete solution includes the OPERA Property Management System (PMS) to manage the daily tasks of each property, OPERA Revenue Management System (ORMS) for an instant response to reservation activity, OPERA Vacation Ownership System (OVOS) for management of condo properties, OPERA Web Suite for online reservation capabilities for the condo owners, and interfaces for distribution and wholesaler activities.

With the Aston Condominium Resort Collection having multiple agreements with condo owners, MICROS, through a strategic partnership, enabled complex owner revenue distribution capabilities to bring specific condo ownership benefits to the properties.  Condo owners will be able to use the Aston Hotels & Resorts online portal to book their own unit, access their profile, and view statements over the web.
