Jefferies Hires Senior Analyst To Cover Oil Services And Equipment

Jefferies today announced the hiring of Brad Handler as a Managing Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst covering Oil Services and Equipment within the firm’s Energy research team. He will be based in Jefferies’ New York office.

Mr. Handler joins Jefferies with 12 years of experience in equity research focused on oilfield services and equipment, and joins the firm from Credit Suisse, where he was Director, Equity Research, Oilfield Services. Previously, he worked as a senior analyst covering the Oilfield Services space at Wachovia Capital Markets and Blaylock & Partners and as a junior analyst at Goldman Sachs. Prior to working in Equity Research, Mr. Handler held various positions at the BOC Group after beginning his career in commercial lending. Mr. Handler received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his BA degree from The John Hopkins University.

Jefferies’ global energy equity research team of nine senior analysts currently spans three continents and covers nearly 140 companies across the sector.
