Vocollect Healthcare Systems And Prime Care Technologies Bring AccuNurse Key Performance Metrics To Long-Term Care Providers Via PrimeVIEW Digital Dashboard

PITTSBURGH, June 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  Vocollect Healthcare Systems, part of Vocollect, a business unit of Intermec, Inc. (NYSE: IN), announces an alliance to bring key AccuNurse performance metrics to long-term care providers via the primeVIEW digital dashboard and data mining tool, developed by Prime Care Technologies.

As part of this alliance, AccuNurse clients, who are also existing Prime Care customers, will be able to take advantage of the AccuNurse metrics on the same dashboard they currently use to monitor other key performance indicators.  All other stand-alone AccuNurse customers will receive a complimentary primeVIEW account that they can use to access their AccuNurse metrics.

The metrics will include the following at the enterprise, site, unit, resident and/or worker levels:  

• ADL Trending
• Key Clinical Alert Trending
• Key Product Utilization Metrics (VA Usage, Documentation %, Paging, Sign-ons)
• Pulse Check Reporting

The initial release, which will be rolled out to joint VHS/Prime Care pilot customers by the end of June, includes the ADL trending metrics. All other metrics will be rolled out in monthly releases and completed by mid-Q4. The dashboard will be rolled out to all AccuNurse customers starting in July.

AccuNurse, which is specifically designed to support clinical teams, is powered by two-way dialogue that allows clinicians to exchange information back and forth with the EMR using their voice. With AccuNurse, clinical teams can receive new patient tasks from the EMR and also request clinical information about a patient – all using voice and a smart device. AccuNurse also allows clinicians to document right within the EMR.
