, an Agro-Management company focussed on stevia agronomics, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dararith Soun as Agro-Development Manager for Cambodia.
Mr. Soun brings with him a comprehensive network of expert contacts within the agricultural research community both domestically and internationally. He has worked closely with organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Association of the UN (FAO), Oxfam in the United Kingdom and within the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) in Cambodia.
“With over 17 years of experience in the field, Mr. Soun is a welcome addition to our talented team,” said President Brian Dicks. “His intimate knowledge of field operations, plantation management and agro-policy development will greatly assist the Company’s propagation and cultivation objectives in Cambodia.”
Mr. Soun’s experience ranges from being a plantation management specialist for a private foreign-invested corn plantation in Kampong Speu Province to supporting agro-investment and rural capacity-building programs.
