MyHealthDIRECT Strengthens Board Of Directors, Wins HHS Innovation Award

BROOKFIELD, Wis., June 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MyHealthDIRECT, the nation's first and only healthcare scheduling exchange, announces the addition of two health industry veterans, Tom Cox and Jacque Sokolov, MD, to the company's Board of Directors.

This announcement comes as the Company was awarded first place on June 5th at the "Discharge Follow-Up Appointment Challenge" sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Office for the National Coordinator for Health IT. MyHealthDIRECT's Healthcare Scheduling Exchange (sm) is a web-based platform that allows patients and caregivers to search for, book and confirm doctor appointments.

Cox is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at HealthWays, Inc. (NASDAQ: HWAY), the largest independent global provider of well-being improvement solutions. In this role, Cox oversees sales, marketing and communications, market operations, and delivery operations for the company's domestic business. Prior to joining HealthWays, Cox served as President of Concentra Network Services.

Dr. Sokolov is currently Chairman and Senior Partner at SSB Solutions, a national healthcare management consulting, project development and investment firm. Over the past 15 years, he has led consulting engagements with top-tier physician organizations, hospital systems, and managed care organizations in virtually every major market in the country. He serves or has served on the boards of many healthcare organizations including Hospira, the National Health Foundation, the White House Health Project and the National Health Policy Council, among others.
