MtronPTI, world leader in custom frequency control and filter products, today introduced the LF9287 triplexer LC filter for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) applications, supporting real-time communications across agencies, a critical priority identified by city, state and federal governments and highlighted by national emergencies like Hurricane Katrina.
The LF9287 LC triplexer filter connects a single transceiver to multiple antennas in vehicle mounted LMR systems. Covering VHF High, UHF and 700/800 bands, the LF8297’s low insertion loss (< 0.8 dB), excellent port-port isolation (> 25 dB), and high power handling (low bands: >50 Watts/channel, high band: > 30 W/ch.) make it a perfect solution for designers.
“Radio makers serving the first response / LMR market look to MtronPTI for performance and space savings. The new LF9287 triplexer does just that,” states Paul Dechen, Vice President of Sales – Military / Instrumentation / Space / Avionics. “This is one more example of how MtronPTI’s custom microwave solutions gives system designers a competitive edge.”
The hermetically sealed LF9287 operating temperature range of -30˚ to +60˚C, shock / vibration / moisture resistance, salt fog and blowing dust intrusion protection meet public safety’s most demanding environmental requirements. The LF9287 is a 4.57 x 3.76 x 1.22” all metal module with TNC-female connectors. Availability is 8-9 weeks ARO in OEM volumes.
The LF9287 is part of MtronPTI’s growing family of custom designed filter, diplexer and triplexer solutions for the demanding requirements of high reliability military and first responder network radios.
