Ringel will have overall responsibility for Staples Advantage in North America and report to Joe Doody, president of Staples North American Delivery.

“Neil has demonstrated great leadership at Staples,” said Doody. “He has deep knowledge of the Staples Advantage business and has been a driving force in unifying our total portfolio of products, services and expertise for our contract customers. In addition to office supplies, Staples Advantage is growing its portfolio of solutions, including facilities and breakroom, print, promotional products, furniture and technology. Ringel most recently served as senior vice president of Staples Advantage.

Ringel succeeds Jay Baitler, who will retire in October after 17 years leading Staples Advantage.

“We thank Jay for his tremendous leadership of and remarkable contributions to Staples Advantage and the company overall,” said Doody. “Jay’s legacy will have a lasting impact on Staples, and we wish him all the best in the years ahead.”
