Evangelical Community Hospital Selects Allscripts Sunrise Health Record System

LEWISBURG, Pa., June 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg moves toward opening its new Surgical and Cardiovascular Expansion in early July, much consideration was given to choosing a coordinated communication system for healthcare information technology.

By selecting Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager™, an acute care Electronic Health Record system, Evangelical intends to save time, improve its management of clinical information, and enhance overall patient care. The new system supports collaborative care across the Hospital's regional locations and departments, supports critical decision-making, and automates processes for accuracy and safety.  It provides all caregivers real-time access to patient information such as medications, test results and diagnoses – information that is critical to a patient's care experience. 

Evangelical Community Hospital already uses Allscripts solutions for its outpatient electronic health record.  The addition of the Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager solution will help the Hospital migrate its inpatient data and information to an electronic format and provide a seamless and integrated electronic information solution across the Hospital.
