Aimco Declares Dividends On Class U And Z Cumulative Preferred Stock

Apartment Investment and Management Company (“Aimco”) (NYSE: AIV, AIVPrT, AIVPrU, AIVPrV, AIVPrY, AIVPrZ) announced today that its Board of Directors declared dividends on shares of its Class U and Z Cumulative Preferred Stock. Dividend information is as follows:

Dividends are payable on July 15, 2012, to shareholders of record on July 1, 2012.

As announced on May 16, 2012, Aimco will redeem all outstanding shares of its Class T, V and Y Cumulative Preferred Stock on June 15, 2012, at $25.00 per share plus an amount equal to accumulated and unpaid dividends thereon to the redemption date.
