|Those in Miami craving a taste of the tropics can try the Spicy Coconut Lobster at Andrew Carmellini's The Dutch.
Combining two traditional American favorites, Holsteins at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas offers its delectable Lobster Mac n' Cheese served in a creamy taleggio-mascarpone sauce. In this, the juicy Maine lobster is topped with a flavorful black truffle sauce. Another crowd favorite, the Maine Lobster Roll, includes fresh-cooked lobster tossed in a tasty chive aioli and served in a mini hot dog bun with cole slaw.
Elsewhere across the country, Fishtail by David Burke on New York's Upper East Side offers a three-course Lobster Louie menu every Sunday. Appetizers include a spicy lobster roll with avocado, soy pearls and pineapple, and a lobster scramble with tomato fondue and horseradish creme fraiche. Entrees are a celebration of lobster in all of its forms, such as his famous Angry Lobster, a grilled lobster with David Burke barbecue sauce, lobster poached in saffron butter, a lobster mac and cheese and lobster tempura.
Farther north in New England, enjoy breathtaking ocean views from Newport's coastline on The Chanler's outdoor patio restaurant, The Veranda. Dine on the signature lobster BLT designed by executive chef Thomas Duffy. Prepared with whole lobster, cherry-smoked bacon, fresh avocado, vine-ripened tomatoes, radish sprouts and topped with a mouthwatering creme fraiche, this is a dish to be reckoned with.
