HYDRA is an ultrasonic intelligent pig developed to inspect buried or inaccessible piping in nuclear plants and process piping in refining and chemical plants. This technology builds upon the company’s highly successful and time-proven FTIS™ and InVista™ inspection tools, utilized in fired heater coils and unpiggable pipelines, respectively. HYDRA has unique characteristics that were developed in accordance with specific industry requirements, including easy navigation of complex piping configurations, foreign material exclusion and limited launching/receiving space. Combining inspection data captured by HYDRA with LifeQuest™ assessment software, Quest Integrity can provide an integrated, integrity management solution set for the nuclear and process industries.
