Cash Store Financial Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

EDMONTON, May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Gordon J. Reykdal, Chairman and CEO of The Cash Store Financial Services Inc. ("Cash Store Financial") (TSX: CSF & NYSE: CSFS) today announced the appointment of Craig Warnock as Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Warnock is a seasoned finance executive with over 25 of years senior financial management experience, including the positions of Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President and Treasurer with ATB Financial.  The appointment is effective July 1, 2012.

Mr. Reykdal commented: "Craig brings with him the executive financial expertise required to further strengthen the Company's overall financial strategy at this stage in the Company's development. Mr. Reykdal today also announced the resignation of current Chief Financial Officer Nancy Bland, who is leaving the Company to pursue an opportunity as an entrepreneur in a family-owned enterprise.  To ensure a smooth transition, Ms. Bland has agreed to provide assistance to Mr. Warnock throughout the integration process.
