The Primerica Foundation Announces Grant Awards

Twenty-six Metro Atlanta and Georgia nonprofits received a total of over $600,000 in 2011 through grant funding from The Primerica Foundation, the new philanthropic arm of Duluth-based Primerica.

“Primerica has operated in the Atlanta Metro area for 35 years, and during that time we have always believed in giving back to the community, both in the forms of grants and as well as through the extraordinary volunteer efforts of our employees. The Primerica Foundation, however, is new and was formed as part of our restructuring as an independent company after our 2010 initial public offering,” said Rick Williams, Chairman of the Board and Co-CEO of Primerica. “I am excited that, through our new foundation, we will be able to continue our proud tradition of helping nonprofits that have such a positive impact on the Metro Atlanta community.”
