DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. Receives LEED Gold Certification For Its Santa Clara Data Center

WASHINGTON, May 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. (NYSE: DFT) today announced it has earned LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for its SC1 data center located in Santa Clara, California.  This is the Company's third LEED Gold certification.

One of the largest data centers in Silicon Valley, SC1 is constructed in two identical phases, each comprising of 18.2 megawatts of critical load power capacity and approximately 88,000 square feet of computing space.  The facility combines sustainable design, construction and operational practices to deliver one of the most efficient data centers in the region.
