During the session, panelists will share their insights regarding employee management topics ranging from change management and user adoption, to social media and collaborative work. The theme of this year’s Convergence conference is “Building the Empowered Enterprise.” Mainstream adoption of online, social, mobile and cloud technologies are changing how consumers live, communicate and work. This shift is requiring organizations to adapt to new ways of functioning and thinking, especially as it relates to workforce management. Adam Miller, Cornerstone’s founder and CEO, will explore how these trends are impacting clients and influencing Cornerstone’s product innovation during his opening keynote presentation, which will be streamed live to Cornerstone’s Web site. “The concept of the Empowered Enterprise is rooted in the convergence of technology and people,” said Miller. “Technology strategies are now being driven by what employees need and want in order to get their jobs done, while incorporating the devices and applications they use every day. This creates significant opportunities for organizations to transform the ways in which they engage, enable and empower their workforce through learning, performance and talent management initiatives.”
