Humana Military To Host 75 Wounded, Ill, And Recovering Service Members At 90th Valero Texas Open In San Antonio, Texas

Humana Military Healthcare Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) will recognize and host 75 service members recovering from wounds, illnesses and injuries acquired in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars for the 2012 Valero Texas Open, April 19th-22nd, at the AT&T Oaks Golf Course, a 72 par, 7,522 yard course located in the Cibolo Canyons area just north of San Antonio. The 2012 Valero Texas Open also commemorates its 90 ^th anniversary making it one of the oldest golf tournaments in the world.

As part of the spring FedEx Cup event, Humana Military will host 75 of our nation’s service members and their families in a temperature-controlled Warrior Hospitality Suite each day of the tournament.

“Hosting our nations’ ill and recovering service members in the Warrior Hospitality Suite has become a staple with Humana Military during the Valero Texas Open,” said Orie Mullen, Group Vice President and Executive Leader for Humana Military. “Giving these heroes a day of much needed rest and relaxation with their colleagues and families is just a small token of appreciation to their sacrifice and continuing service to our nation.”
