Newcastle Announces Full Exercise Of Option To Purchase Additional Shares Of Common Stock

In connection with its most recent underwritten public offering, Newcastle Investment Corp. (NYSE: NCT) announces the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase an additional 2,475,000 shares of common stock for gross proceeds of approximately $15.4 million. After giving effect to the full exercise of the option, Newcastle sold a total of 18,975,000 shares of its common stock in the offering for total gross proceeds of approximately $118.0 million.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Citigroup served as the joint book-running managers for the offering.
