Emerson Adds Two New Stories To Award-Winning ‘It’s Never Been Done Before’ Global Advertising Campaign

Building on the success of its award-winning “It’s Never Been Done Before” advertising campaign, Emerson (NYSE: EMR) has added two new customer stories to its three-year campaign that highlights the company’s innovation and engineering expertise in a variety of applications and projects around the world, including in extreme conditions and remote locations.

The two new stories added to the company’s multimillion-dollar advertising campaign are:

• NBN Australia: Emerson was selected to design, supply, install, and commission 10 network hubs in Australia that will serve as the foundation for a continent-spanning broadband network. This nationwide network represents the largest single infrastructure project in the country’s history, akin to creating a highway system virtually from scratch. With the help of Emerson, NBN Co will be able to dramatically reduce deployment time and costs and experience energy-efficiency gains and greater flexibility to optimize the total project deployment.
• LUKOIL: When LUKOIL, one of Russia’s largest oil and gas companies, wanted to increase exports by expanding its Varandey facility, Emerson supplied rugged and reliable automation solutions that enable consistent and safe year-round operations in a harsh environment, where temperatures reach minus-47 degrees Fahrenheit. Emerson’s automation solutions have allowed for better monitoring and measurement, faster diagnostics and system issue detection, and, overall, LUKOIL can more easily maintain continuous, safe, and efficient year-round operations. LUKOIL’s Varandey facility is now the world’s northernmost continuously operating oil terminal.
