(NYSE: CIT) cit.com, a leading provider of financing to small businesses and middle market companies, today announced the appointment of Stacey Goodman (49) as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer effective April 30, 2012. She will report to Nelson J. Chai, President of CIT Group Inc.

Goodman will be responsible for the Systems and Technology Services organization, including overseeing approximately 700 information technology (IT) professionals worldwide. She will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining the IT systems at CIT while looking for opportunities to consolidate systems, reduce costs and determine key areas for innovation and investment.
Prior to CIT, Goodman served as Managing Director of Global Technology & Operations at Bank of America. Before this she was Managing Director, Information Technology at UBS.
