The StabilBlot blocker family represents SurModics’ newest offering of its Stabil™ line of quality, market-proven immunodiagnostic reagent products that enhances sensitivity and minimizes background in blotting applications. The StabilBlot Blocker family was initially highlighted at the February 2012 Molecular Tri-Con IVD conference held in San Francisco, CA.

Membranes used in blotting applications are porous and should be blocked to avoid non-specific binding and background. SurModics’ StabilBlot Blocker Family offers a range of product options, both protein-based and synthetic-based, to block non-specific binding as well as enhance sensitivity when used as a blocker and antibody diluent.
