April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SecureWatch24, one of the leading providers of security services in the
New York City metro area, has announced expanded ties with Genetec. The "super regional" security company has been named the Genetec Resource Partner for the
Northeast United States.
"Genetec is putting a new support structure into place to assist dealers and integrators who want to sell Genetec services," said
Desmond Smyth, president and founder of SW24. "By appointing SW24 as the Northeast Genetec Resource Partner, its products and services can be purchased through us at a favorable margin to dealers and integrators. We are also available to assist in the bidding process, including the ability to write proposals and offering pre-sales site surveys and other assistance on the integrator's behalf."
"It is clear that Genetec and SW24 are both in phases of tremendous growth and by partnering together we anticipate increased sales as a result of our affinities and dedication to service excellence," said
Alain Bissada, Genetec's Director of Sales North America, Eastern Region. "SW24's experience in video monitoring and other security services make it a natural choice to assist us in building out our dealer/integrator network in the region."
SW24 said it plans to offer not only pre-sales support services for Genetec, but that dealers and integrators purchasing Genetec through SW24 would qualify for sales training, customer installation and post-sales training and support, as well as the ability to offer other SW24 services such as investigations and guards.
"It is advantageous for dealers and integrators to offer the best cutting edge, open architecture solutions available for access control, license plate recognition and video management, and that's Genetec's. Combined with other SW24 one-stop shop services, it's a marriage made in heaven for dealers and integrators looking to win business," said Smyth.
