Scholastic Media Launches Game Apps On Nokia Lumia Smartphones

NEW YORK, April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --  Scholastic Media, a division of Scholastic Inc., (NASDAQ: SCHL) the global children's publishing, education and media company, announced today that it will launch a selection of its game apps on Nokia Lumia smartphones. This is the first time Scholastic's apps will be made available on the Windows Phone OS - marking another expansion of Scholastic's footprint in the digital marketplace.

Scholastic Media first introduced mobile apps on the iOS platform in 2009 and launched on the Android platform in 2011. Each of Scholastic Media's apps is developed in-house, ensuring fidelity to the tone, look, and feel of beloved Scholastic brands in apps that are both educational and entertaining.
